Before assuming a this role, Alexander Morisse leveraged this knowledge to create an online learning and personalization system for Beats Music, where he served as lead data scientist.
Alexander Morisse also led user analysis efforts as senior data scientist at Idle Games in San Francisco, California. There, he developed a set of accurate user archetypes that he then used to categorize game-play behavior and connect users with high-engagement players. In less than a year, the system had driven user engagement and increased site earnings by 40 percent.
Also a former data scientist and software engineer with Quid, where he created algorithms to operate at the intersection of technology and finance, Alexander Morisse has shared his professional expertise as a writer, lecturer, and university faculty member. He has served as a research assistant professor at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in Spain, where he focused on topics in string theory. Dr. Morisse completed his Ph.D. thesis in string theory at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and since that time has published on the topic and presented at conferences across the globe.
